GPS coordinates, camera serial numbers and private capture details can travel with the file long after the shoot.
Embedded C2PA manifests and editing details may reveal more about your workflow and software than you intended.
Blunt metadata removal throws away the authorship and licensing information you actually want to keep.
You shot the photograph. You used a generative retouch tool to remove one small distraction.
The file may still carry an AI-use signal that contributes to an “AI info” label on Instagram. That label alone doesn’t explain how much of the image was changed.
Content Credentials can also include editing tools, editing history and optional creator or signer details. STILL/CTRL helps you inspect and choose which supported embedded metadata travels with your export.
Metadata is only one signal. Removing it does not guarantee anonymity or prevent platform labels.
INSPECT YOUR FILESSources: Meta — labeling AI-generated content (2024) · Content Credentials — official icon. Platforms set their own labelling rules and may rely on other signals. If an image is materially altered or generated, say so.
One file. Four ways to take control. See how each metadata policy changes a sample photo.

The four policies match the choices in the app. C2PA removal covers credentials embedded in the file; it can't remove records stored elsewhere or labels applied by platforms.
Your photos never leave your device. Reading, cleaning and checking all happen in the browser.
Choose which copyright, author, camera and location fields stay attached to the photo you deliver.
Apply one policy to every photo, then export them as a ZIP or separate files with original name, prefix or suffix.
Each exported file is reopened and inspected, so you see what actually remains — not what we assume.
No. Photos are read, cleaned and checked inside your browser. There is no upload, no account and no analytics on your photo data. The only outside connection the app makes is to load its fonts.
Not when you keep the same format and size: for JPEG, PNG and WebP the image data is copied byte-for-byte and only the metadata changes. If you choose a different export format, the photo is re-encoded and the app tells you so. Orientation and color profile are kept so the photo displays correctly.
It removes C2PA content credentials embedded in the file. It can't control how Instagram or other platforms assign labels; they may also rely on other signals, disclosures or records stored outside the file.
Yes. That is the core workflow: keep author and copyright, remove location, serial numbers, software and other fields — field by field, or with one choice for the whole batch.
